Definitely the better route IMO. The Greenbacks in the EVH cab only handle 25 watts each, so you'll get a lot more speaker breakup as you turn up, which could end up turning to flub/being unpleasant.

WebAug 2, 2024 · Bogner makes good cabs too but sound more modern imo. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Germino and Metropoulos cabs. I remember someone said that the quality of EVH cabs are not as good as of others I mentioned above. Cab brands/builders I’d recommend StoneAge and Kerry Wright cabs, they’re not cheap though. The loaded 4X12 with Sheffields came in really close to sounding like the 5150(Fender) cab.
